Friday Wine Tastings: Welcome to Sparkletown

The sparkling family is a seriously underrated category of wine. If you tend to relegate a bottle of bubbly to toasts at a wedding, you might be missing out on just how refreshing the addition of effervescence can be. Especially during the hottest month of the year (August)!

Now, before you immediately go straight to traditional "extra brut champagne" in your mind, remember that there is a deliciously wide variety of expressions within the category of sparkling. 

Fully spanning the continuums of dry to sweet, light bodied to rich, elegant to aggressive (bubbles)... Not to mention the stylistic diversity that varies from region to region.

We're excited to dive into the world of sparkling wines this month, and hope you are too! At each Friday Try-Before-You-Buy event, there will be a special sparkler taking center stage.
