Producer Showcase: Anchor Meadow Farm

Emely Hendl, along with her husband and daughter, owns and operates Anchor Meadow Farm, a first-generation farm in Moneta, Virginia dedicated to raising high-quality farrow-to-finish KuneKune pigs. Committed to sustainable, forest-based farming, the family offers an extensive line of KuneKune pig derived products — including nutrient dense premium cuts like bone in chops, salamis, jerky, snack sticks and a variety of non-toxic lard-based skin & beauty care. Their commitment to utilizing the KuneKune pig in its entirety ensures both sustainability and respect for this exceptional heritage breed.

The farm is also ever expanding into agritourism and education, helping others learn about raising KuneKune pigs for pork and profit.

We are pleased to welcome them to SML Fine Wines for a line-up of perfectly paired charcuterie and wine on Friday, December 12th from 4-7pm.
