Producer Showcase: The Vineyard House

The Vineyard House is located in the illustrious alluvial fan of Napa Valley. With property bordered by icons of the industry including: To Kalon, Promontory, and Harlan Estate, Jeremy Nickel, owner of The Vineyard House, is continuing the legacy of his father, Gil Nickel (of Nickel & Nickel and Far Niente wineries). This boutique estate crafts limited-production wines that reflect both the spirit of the land and the people who care for it. We are honored to present their collection at this tasting with our guest, Charlie Plummer, TVH’s Global Director of Sales.

Charlie is a dynamic force in the wine industry, boasting a diverse background that spans sales, marketing, hospitality, and a deep-rooted passion for wine. Beginning in the vibrant Hawaii restaurant scene and wholesale distribution, Charlie’s journey evolved into an influential career as an educator, brand developer, and leading figure in winery operations.

His journey includes certifications from prestigious institutions like the Court of Master Sommeliers, Society of Wine Educators, Hawaii Pacific University, and the Sonoma State University Wine Business Program.

 He currently holds the position of Global Director of Sales at The Vineyard House Estate, a historical and limited-production Napa Valley luxury winery owned by Jeremy Nickel.  Charlie remains dedicated to fostering excellence in the wine industry and supporting community initiatives while advocating for sustainable practices in the heart of wine country.
